PRAHOVA VALLEY

Prahova Valley with its 2 main winter and summer resorts Sinaia and Poiana Brasov

Any of these locations is recommended for organizing events, but  Poiana Brasov has several advantages as you can see bellow:

Location:
Sinaia is 100km away from Bucharest at 800 m altitude (2-hour drive by bus) and Poiana Brasov is the best winter resort in Romania at 1100 m high and at 200km from Bucharest (3-4 hours drive) and 15 km away from Brasov , one of the most beautiful Saxon Cities in Transylvania.

Sinaia
Can offer one 4* Hotel and two 3* Hotels, each of them having a capacity of about 300 places with Conference rooms, etc. We highly recommend Montana Hotel a new renovated having 4* standards.

Poiana Brasov
Can offer you three 4* locations, all of them new and suitable for Conferences, and another 5-6 other 3* locations. We highly recommend Ana Hotel and Piatra Mare Hotel

Both locations have a huge number of Restaurants in the resort itself or around, so finding a suitable Restaurant is “ a piece of cake“

Activities:
All the following activites can be organized from those two resorts

  • Visit of the Peles Castle, the former residence of the Romanian King Family
  • Visit of Brasov, one of the most beautiful and well preserved saxon cities in Transyvania
  • One-day trip to Sighisoara, the Nurnberg of Eastern Europe, the place where Dracula was born
  • Visit of Castle Dracula , 20 km away from Brasov, and the Risnov Citadel nearby
  • Visit of the unique Saxon fortfied church of Prejmer .
  • Golf playing in the same spot mentioned in the “to do” list from Bucharest.
  • Different team building activities

If we chose between Sinaia and Poiana Brasov we would recommend the second one, being near to a big city, named Brasov, and giving more choices for the attendees.
